Dr. Corry Installed As President Of American Veterinary Medical Association
Dr. James Cook officially handed over the title of American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) president to Dr. Larry Corry today at the 2009 AVMA Convention President"s Installation Luncheon in Seattle. Dr. Corry, a small-animal practitioner from Buford, Ga., becomes the 129th president of the AVMA.

Hatwig Receives American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Award Of Excellence
The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) today honored Christopher A. Hatwig, M.S., FASHP, with the ASHP Board of Directors Award of Excellence for his work to help safety net hospitals provide safe and cost-effective drug therapy to low-income and uninsured patients. Hatwig, vice president of Apexus in Irving, Texas, received the award during ASHP"s Summer Meeting in Rosemont, Ill.

The Guardia Pro Protective Embryo Transfer Catheteris uniquely engineered to protect and guide embryos through cervical mucus and blood and to eliminate the need for cervical flushing or aspiration prior to transfer.
